1) The Mobio Smartphone application is free to our valued users. We never initiate any interaction that costs you money. Only you can initiate a purchase transaction when you're ready to buy something. Our goal is to make Mobio a great tool for you even if you never use it to buy anything.
2) If you disclose any information to Mobio, we will only disclose that information to others with your specific knowledge and permission. If a brand or sponsor would like to offer you value in exchange for information, then we will present you with the option to participate or not. Unlike with some services, you are always in control with Mobio.
3) If you do choose to use Mobio as a tool to make purchases, the credit card details you enter are encrypted and passed through a secure vault that is not stored on your phone. Only the last 4 digits of your card number and expiry date are actually stored on your smartphone. If you do lose your smartphone, your credit card number is safe and not visible on the stolen device.
4) The Mobio service is PCI Level 1 compliant. That's code for "we take the same care of your financial information as banks and credit card processors do". Mobio is audited annually by an independent payments industry-certified inspector to maintain this level of compliancy.
