("Mobio" or "we") and its websites: Our services are delivered via our website and our mobile application suite available on a variety of smart phones. 1. Providing visitors with anonymous access
You can browse our website without disclosing your personal data. You can download and install our mobile apps without disclosing your personal data.
2. The services and links of our website
Our website does not enable our visitors to communicate with other visitors or to post information for access by others. Our website does not include links to third party web service providers.
3. Data collection and purpose specification
We collect only the personal data that you volunteer while using our services. We may also enable collection of information about you from other sources (if you desire) such as, public records or bodies, or private organizations. All personal data is stored securely and never disclosed to third parties without your explicit consent or except as explicitly provided for by this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Aggregated information, such as information on traffic patterns within our site, is collected through various methods. We collect IP addresses through our websites. An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer when you surf the web. Web servers, the computers that "serve up" web pages, automatically identify your computer by its IP address, and when you request a page from our web sites, our servers log your IP address. Our sites do not link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable, so although your session will be logged, you will remain anonymous to us. This aggregated information is used to improve the function of our websites and may be shared with third parties.
4. Children's Privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. We do take specific steps to ensure certain of our services are accessed only by adults.
5. Disclosure and visitor choice
We may disclose our customers' personal data to our subsidiaries, affiliated companies or other trusted businesses or persons for the purpose of processing this information for us. We require that these parties agree to process such information based on our instructions and in compliance with this Privacy Policy and any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures. All our services are "opt-in."
6. Confidentiality / Security
We give you the option of using a secure transmission method to send us the following types of personal data: primary personal data (such as name and contact details) and identifiers (such as credit card details).
We have implemented security policies, rules and technical measures to protect the personal data that we have under our control from: unauthorized access, improper use or disclosure, unauthorized modification and unlawful destruction or accidental loss.
All our employees and data processors, who have access to, and are associated with the processing of personal data, are obliged to respect the confidentiality of our customers’ personal data. We ensure that your personal data will not be disclosed to governmental and judicial authorities except as required by due process of law or if, in our best judgment, we deem it necessary to protect the safety of an individual or the public.
You can ask us by sending an email (privacy@mobio.net), whether we are keeping personal data about you.
If we do, then upon request and upon receiving satisfactory evidence of your identity, we will provide you, without charge, a readable copy.
We allow you to challenge the personal data that we hold about you and, where appropriate, you may have it erased, rectified, amended or completed.
We reserve the right to refuse to provide our visitors with a copy of their personal data, but will give reasons for our refusal. We allow you to challenge our decision to refuse to provide you with a copy of your personal data.
8. Privacy Compliance
Our privacy policy is compliant with the following instrument: Laws of Canada.
It is also compliant with the following global or regional regulatory, or self-regulatory instrument: OECD Privacy guidelines.
