What is Mobio INsider?

How do I scan?

1. Select the "Scan" button and center a barcode within the outlined window. 
2. Hold your phone parallel to the surface you're scanning and ensure the barcode is well lit & clearly visible. 
3. If scanning a reflective surface ensure there is no glare on the barcode.
4. Once the barcode is captured you will be directed to the barcode’s respective page.
    

Pre-Authorization?

When a card is registered on your Mobio, there is a $1 'pre-authorization' to test the card. This is NOT a charge, and we do not convert it to a purchase/charge on your account.  You may see this on your card account as 'reserve' or similar for up to 4 days. This depends on the bank that issued your card. It typically will not appear on your end of month statement at all, but can sometimes be seen in online banking type systems for a day or two.  It is similar to what happens when you check into a hotel or rent a car with your card.  This process is necessary to confirm that the information entered for the credit card is correct.

How secure is Mobio?

• Mobio is a PCI level 1 compliant service provider; the highest level of data security standards brought into effect and endorsed by the major credit card companies.
• By only storing the last 4-digts of your credit card number and using the CVN to approve transactions (similar to a PIN), Mobio is able to keep your credit card information safe and secure.
• In addition Mobio comes equipped with the option to set a 4-digit passcode for increased security.
